Songs
A number of songs which I add to from time to time. They're in a range of styles which I haven't tried to classify in any way (even alphabetically!). For each I've given the title and a wee note about the song. I've made a demo of each here at home on my 8 track "recording studio" (ie computer) using instruments I have lying around. There's also a lyrics sheet with some chord windows which you're welcome to print off if you like.
It's Up to You
Well, ultimately it is.

Gruess Gott
Not actually a song (so no lyrics!). I heard this tune in a dream I had whilst on holiday in Bavaria. I got up in the wee sma hours and recorded it on a portable recorder on the kitchen table. The title is the common greeting in South Germany.
4:12
Hell Hell Hell
For all the self-appointed hate-mongers who hide behind religion. Sometimes I really hope there is a Hell for them all to go to.
Lyrics

Allan Burn
A song about the wee stuff which, after big things happen, gets to be the big stuff.

A Song for Anne
Many years ago I worked in a geriatric hospital. One sweet old lady called Anne never had a visit that I recall, although her son and family lived not far away. We always had a blether when I was doing my rounds of the wards (emptying bins). This is for her.

Dance with Me
It's good to talk.
Lyrics

Monster's Dinner
The nightmare scenario that deals with the question we all want answered – what is it like to be eaten by a monster?

Language of my Land
The lovely words of this song were written by my old pal and ex- colleague Sandra McLean. I just did the melody.

Stay with Me Tonight
Not desperate, honest. No, don't put your coat on. Where are you going......................???

Too Wee, Too Poor, Too Stupid
Written during the Scottish Independence campaign in 2014. Imagine parents trying desperately to stop their grown-up family leaving home because they're much too useful to be allowed away??

Eildon View
For those folk who have to leave home to go into residential care – life doesn't stop, does it?
